Find verified MATE discount codes plus the latest vouchers available today
As an Editor with CupoNation Australia since 2022, I keep MATE offers fresh and test discount codes two to three times a week. From what I have seen, their internet and mobile bundle plans deliver better value than buying services separately. Bundling not only simplifies billing but also reduces your total spend.
MATE was founded by identical twin brothers Mark and David Fazio and the goal was to create a telco service that is direct, easy to understand and affordable. It offers excellent packages and plans that include unlimited data and no lock-in contracts. This company is 100% Australian-owned and has won awards for its excellent customer service centre.
MATE aims to break the stigma of stereotypical telco companies with hidden charges and contract terms that trap customers.
Apply this discount code during sign-up to save up to $120 across your monthly bills on the Ripper nbn internet plan.
Apply this promo code during sign-up to receive a $25 monthly discount on your bill for 6 months ($150 total savings). Valid for new customers on eligible home nbn or mobile plans.
When we looked at the mobile plans from MATE, their Top Mates plan really stood out for its value. For $32 a month, you get a generous 42GB of data with full 5G access. The plan also includes unlimited calls and texts to 15 international destinations and a 500GB data bank.
Here is the savvy part we wanted to point out. MATE has another plan called Better Mates, which costs the exact same price but only gives you 32GB of data. By choosing the Top Mates plan, you get an extra 11GB for no additional cost.
Honestly, if you want more data and need to make international calls without stretching your budget, we believe this plan offers the best value. It’s a simple way to get more for your money.
MATE’s bundle deals are designed to give you bigger savings when you combine services. Options include:
Mobile + NBN broadband: $10 off each month
Internet + mobile: $30 off each month for the first 6 months
Add a mobile plan: Save $10 per month
Our bonus tip: Stack these with a MATE promo code and you could save up to $180 a year, making bundles one of the best ways to maximise your budget.
A great way to save right from the start is by avoiding extra fees. We have found that MATE doesn't charge any setup or installation fees on their Bring Your Own Modem plans.
All your charges are clearly shown on your monthly bill, which means you can budget without any surprises. This is especially helpful for avoiding unexpected costs when you are switching providers.
We have confirmed that every plan comes with unlimited data, which is a fantastic feature for saving money and avoiding extra charges. This makes them a reliable choice for students, gamers, and anyone who needs consistent internet access.
Having unlimited data means you won't have to worry about paying extra fees if you go over a limit. It also means you won't have your speed throttled, which is really important for streaming movies or working from home.
One thing we really like is that MATE lets you avoid long contracts. This means you won’t get hit with penalty fees if you decide to stop the service.
We think this flexibility is great. It allows you to switch plans or even providers without stress if the service isn't meeting your expectations. It's a simple way to stay in control of your telco spending.
We have noticed that MATE has a great way of rewarding loyal customers. They often provide free service upgrades, such as automatically moving you to a better plan.
The best part is that you don't need to hunt for a discount code to get these perks. It’s their way of thanking you for staying with them, ensuring you get better value and service without having to ask.
