Free standard delivery applies on eligible orders over $75 for most of Australia, and express delivery is discounted above that threshold. Enter your postcode on a product page or at checkout to see the fees for your address.

• SA Regional, NT and WA Regional addresses need $100, and their standard fee is $2 higher.

Standard $10 Front Row Rewards, gift cards and store credit count as payment methods, so they never affect free delivery. Birthday, Anniversary and Bonus Rewards lower your eligible cart value before the free delivery check, which can drop you under the threshold.

For example, a $78 cart with a $10 Front Row Reward still ships free, though you pay $68. With a $15 Birthday Reward instead, the eligible value falls to $63 and standard delivery is charged. Before using a Birthday or Anniversary Reward, keep your cart at least the Reward value above your threshold, such as $90 for a $15 Reward in most of Australia.

Free change of mind returns make ordering two sizes low risk. Dropping a return at an Australia Post Office, Parcel Locker, red Post Box or Parcelpoint by HUBBED location is free, while a Parcelpoint by HUBBED home pick up costs $4.95. Your return label stays valid until the item’s last eligible return day.

Try items on indoors, away from make up, perfume and deodorant, and keep the tags on until you’re sure. Starting a return forfeits that item’s ICONS even if you then keep it, so only start one once you’ve decided.

FAST Store Credit is the quickest way to shop again after a return.

• FAST Store Credit usually lands within 1 business day of your parcel’s first carrier scan, except on items valued at $400 or more, Final Sale items and items going back to a Marketplace Seller.

• A standard refund takes about 6 business days after your return reaches the Fulfilment Centre, which can take up to 10 business days, plus up to 5 business days for your bank.

• Store credit lasts 36 months but can’t be cashed out or moved to your bank account.

• FAST Exchange ships a different size in the same product and colour within about 1 business day of the first scan, at no extra cost.

Store credit helps you catch a sale that’s about to end, but choose it only if you’ll shop at THE ICONIC again, as a refund to your card is more flexible.

The best prices aren’t always on the homepage, so check the Sale section and the Promotions & Competitions page before you pay. Many campaigns exclude red pen sale items, items sent directly by a Marketplace Seller and named brands, so a THE ICONIC discount code often works only on full price stock.

Compare final cart totals, because a modest code on a full price item can lose to a deeper markdown on the same style. Some vouchers and promotions also make an item non-returnable for a change of mind, which is poor value if the fit is wrong.

Marketplace Sellers set their own prices, so the same style can be cheaper or dearer than stock sold by THE ICONIC. Items sent directly by Marketplace Sellers are often excluded from promotions, can’t be price matched and may have different delivery options. The seller can change with size or colour, so check the product page after choosing both.

Size Refill may offer a sold out size through a Marketplace Seller, so compare the price first. Exchanges must stay with the same seller, so if the next size is only sold elsewhere, you would need to return the item and reorder. When the fit is uncertain, a few dollars saved on a Marketplace listing may not be worth it.

THE ICONIC says it doesn’t use dynamic or surge pricing, so your browsing, device or location don’t change prices. Sales, markdowns and Marketplace Seller updates do, and there is no price protection, so you won’t get the difference back if an item drops after you buy.

If a full price item isn’t urgent and a recurring sale event is a few weeks away, waiting often pays. Otherwise, the only route to a later lower price is a change of mind return and a new order, which works only while the item is unworn, returnable and still in stock in your size.

THE ICONIC Front Row is free for customers aged 18 and over in Australia, and new accounts join automatically. You earn ICONS on what you pay for products, excluding delivery fees, gift card purchases, vouchers and Rewards, and every 1,000 ICONS becomes a $10 Front Row Reward. The ICONS you earn in your 12 month Membership Year set your Status Level.

• Insider members start at 0 ICONS, earn 2 ICONS per $1 and receive a $10 Birthday Reward.

• Stylist members reach 1,500 ICONS, earn 2 ICONS per $1 and get $15 Birthday and Anniversary Rewards.

• Muse members reach 7,000 ICONS, earn 2.5 ICONS per $1 and get $20 Birthday and Anniversary Rewards.

• VIP members reach 15,000 ICONS, earn 3 ICONS per $1 and get $30 Birthday and Anniversary Rewards, plus exclusive experiences.

Every level gets free standard delivery and free returns on eligible orders. At 2 ICONS per $1, or about 2% back, Insider and Stylist members need $500 of eligible spend for a $10 Reward, while VIP members need about $334. Check the Access Extra Offers in your member dashboard before a planned order, as they activate automatically and pay bonus ICONS.

ICONS stay pending for 30 days, until the change of mind return window passes, before counting towards your Status Level and next Reward. Active ICONS expire 12 months after the order that earned them, and Status ICONS reset to zero each Membership Year. Miss your level’s threshold and you drop one level, never more, while moving up applies straight away for the rest of that year and all of the next. Shop to Collect earnings are capped at 5,000 ICONS per order, but bonus ICONS from Access Extra Offers are uncapped.

If you’re close to the next level near the end of your Membership Year, bringing a planned purchase forward can lock in a higher earn rate and bigger Birthday and Anniversary Rewards for more than a year. Keep all your shopping on one account, as ICONS and Rewards can’t be merged or transferred, and cancelling your membership wipes them.

THE ICONIC accepts Afterpay, Zip Pay, Klarna and PayPal Pay in 4, alongside cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with no added fee for buy now, pay later. PayPal Pay in 4 works on carts between $30 and $2,000.

These services spread the cost without lowering it, and the provider’s late fees can wipe out any discount. If you return part of an Afterpay order, the refund comes off your last payments first, so it may cancel future instalments rather than reach your card.

Digital Gift Cards range from $25 to $500, expire 36 months after purchase and can be bought up to five of the same value per order. Physical cards are sold at retailers including Woolworths, Target, Big W and Australia Post.

Buying a gift card earns no ICONS, but paying with one does. Based on our research, supermarket and department store rewards programs sometimes offer bonus points or discounts on THE ICONIC gift cards, which is a saving before you even reach checkout. To use several gift cards on one order, add each to your Store Credit first, which also keeps any unspent balance for next time.

New customers who create an account join Front Row automatically and get three Welcome Rewards for their first order, redeemed at checkout in the app. A Welcome Reward can’t be combined with a THE ICONIC promo code or any other offer, so weigh it against our latest codes and use whichever gives the lower total. Save items to your Wishlist with the heart icon so you can check prices quickly when a sale starts.
