Mountain Warehouse promo codes and coupon codes in November 2026
Get outdoor clothing and camping gear vouchers and verified Mountain Warehouse discount codes available today

I’ve been curating Mountain Warehouse deals as an Editor at CupoNation Australia since 2023, updating offers and verifying codes. My role is about ensuring Australians can shop confidently for outdoor gear with genuine savings.
You should shop with confidence knowing Mountain Warehouse has a price promise. If you buy online and find the same item cheaper on a competitor's website within 30 days, they'll refund the difference. It means I never miss out on the best deal.
Mountain Warehouse's mainstay is outdoor clothing and gear under its own name, including waterproof and ski jackets, thermals, hiking pants, snow boots, and camping and travel gear for men, women and kids. Its more technical pieces, from jackets to leather walking boots, carry the Extreme name.
Some items ship from a different location to the rest of an order and arrive separately within 12 days. They're flagged on the product page and at checkout, at no extra cost. With most of the range made under its own label, sale prices run deep on technical pieces too.
Register your email address on the Mountain Warehouse website to receive an instant 10% welcome discount code via email. Code applies at checkout on your first order of hiking jackets, boots, and backpacks.
Apply this promo code during checkout to receive 15% off your order when spending $50 or more. Valid for all customers on eligible outdoor gear.
The Sale section is the first stop for a bargain at Mountain Warehouse. It's split into tiles for Mens, Womens, Kids, Equipment, Jackets, Footwear, Beachwear and Ski, so you can head straight to the gear you need, and some tiles open on a set price band, which is handy when you're shopping to a budget. The "By Activity" menu also lets you shop by the sport or trip you're planning.
When a seasonal sale page is running, sort it by "Biggest Saving %" instead of "Recommended". The deepest cuts rise to the top and you skip past items with only small reductions.
The biggest headline reductions only cover a slice of the range, and popular sizes sell first. Treat a large percentage badge as a starting point, check your size is in stock, and only then plan an order around it.
Many products show two prices, and the higher one isn't always what the item used to sell for. The "Read how our pricing works" link on product pages explains that the "comparable" price is what the brand's buying team believes a product of similar quality would cost at full price from other leading brands. It is not meant to reflect a former selling price.
That changes how you should read a saving. A big percentage against a comparable price tells you the item is cheaper than similar gear elsewhere, not that it was ever sold at the higher figure. Weigh up the price you actually pay against similar jackets or boots, and judge a coupon the same way, by the dollars it takes off your order rather than the size of the headline.
Codes go in at checkout, not in your cart, which catches a lot of people out. Here's how it works on the Australian site.
Add the items you want to your cart and select "Checkout".
Find the "Order Summary", which shows your subtotal and payment options.
Type your code into the "Promo Code" box underneath the payment options.
Select "Apply" and check the subtotal drops before you pay.
If the subtotal doesn't change, the code may have expired or may not cover what's in your cart. Ski packages are excluded from promo codes altogether, so read a code's terms before you build a cart around it.
You can only apply one code per order, and codes can't be combined with other offers. If you're holding an email welcome code and a discount code from a seasonal campaign, you'll need to pick one.
The better choice depends on your cart. A percentage code grows with your spend, so it tends to win on a bigger order, while a code limited to one category only helps if most of your cart sits in that category. Before you apply anything, work out the dollar savings each code gives on your actual cart, not the headline rate.
Standard delivery costs $10, or nothing once your order is over $140. Every order is tracked, and deliveries run Monday to Friday.
Orders to New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria are delivered within 5 to 7 days.
Orders to the ACT, Northern Territory, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia are delivered within 7 to 9 days.
Oversized items usually take 12 to 15 days.
Delivery charges aren't normally refunded when a courier or customs delay holds up your parcel, so order early if you need gear for a set trip date.
The threshold is where small orders can work harder. If your cart sits at $135 (example order), you'd pay $10 for delivery. Adding something you need priced at $10 or more takes you over $140, so the same $10 buys an extra item instead of postage. Check the delivery line at checkout after applying any code, to confirm the order still qualifies.
You have 60 days from purchase to return unwanted items for a full refund, as long as they're unworn and in their original packaging with tags attached. Shoes need to go back in their original shoe box. Underwear and swimwear can't be returned once the hygiene seal is broken, and items sold as part of a set must come back as the full set. Sale items follow the same policy.
There are two ways to send an online order back.
Posting it through the Australia Post returns portal costs $10, which is taken off your refund.
Taking it to one of the stores is free, as long as it was sold and shipped by Mountain Warehouse and you bring your order confirmation email or dispatch note.
Items from different orders have to be returned separately. On a $50 return (example), posting it gets you $40 back, while a store return gets you the full $50, which is a 20% difference on a small item.
Posted returns can't be exchanged. Anything sent back to the warehouse is refunded instead, so if you need a different size or colour, place a new order and return the original. A store can swap an item for a different size, colour or style, subject to stock.
Allow 14 to 21 days for a posted return to be processed, and you'll get an email once the refund goes back to your original payment method. Keep your proof of postage until then, as returns are your responsibility until they arrive.
If you're changing size on a sale item, reorder the new size straight away rather than waiting for the refund. Popular sale sizes go quickly, and the refund for the first item comes back to you either way.
Mountain Warehouse's price promise covers products you buy directly from its website. If you then find the same product at a lower price on a competitor's website within 30 days of purchase, Mountain Warehouse refunds the difference and gives you 10% off your next purchase.
Two limits are worth knowing. It only covers a competitor's lower price, so if the brand drops its own price after you buy, it won't refund the gap. And the 30 days count from your purchase date, not your delivery date.
As an example, if a jacket you paid $150 for turns up $20 cheaper on a competitor's site three weeks later, you'd get $20 back plus 10% off your next order. Contact Customer Care with your order number and the competitor's listing to claim.
Products come with at least a 12-month guarantee against manufacturing faults, and Mountain Warehouse's own clothing goes further.
Extreme range clothing has a 3-year guarantee.
Other Mountain Warehouse branded clothing has a 2-year guarantee.
Footwear (including Extreme footwear), Animal branded products, accessories, tents and other hard goods, and other brands sold on the site keep the 12-month guarantee.
Online orders are registered for the guarantee automatically. Cover applies to normal use only and excludes accidents, neglect and general wear and tear. Waterproof products need reproofing every 6 months or when dirty, and on tents, poles, guy lines and storm damage aren't covered.
To claim, take the item to a store with your proof of purchase, or send Customer Care your order number, photos of the fault and the care label, and a clear description. Within 30 days of purchase, you'll be offered a replacement or a refund. After that, the brand looks to replace the item first, then offers a suitable alternative, and refunds only if neither is possible. That extra year on Extreme clothing is worth weighing up when two jackets are close in price.
Armed forces and emergency services personnel get 10% off at Mountain Warehouse. To claim it, contact Customer Care with a copy of your identification card, and you'll be sent a Mountain Warehouse discount code to use online.
Request it well before you're ready to buy, since the code is issued after your ID is checked rather than at checkout. Only one code works per order, so compare it with any sitewide code running at the time and use whichever takes more off your cart.
Members of the Scouting Association or the Camping and Caravanning Club can get 15% off. Send Customer Care a copy of your membership card (the brand even accepts a photo of your woggle), and you'll receive a Mountain Warehouse discount code for online orders.
At 15%, it's one of the bigger standing discounts on offer, so request it ahead of a large gear order for a camp or club trip rather than waiting for a sale.
Buying for a club, school group or business? You may get discounts on large or corporate orders, case by case. When you send the request, include the item names, colours, units needed in each size, the reason for the purchase, billing and shipping details and a contact number.
Compare the delivered total, not just the item prices. Very large or bulk orders aren't eligible for free delivery, and they're weighed so the delivery charge can be quoted separately.
Signing up for Mountain Warehouse emails is the easiest way to get a promo code without waiting for a sale. Your welcome code appears on screen right after you sign up and is also emailed to you, so check your spam folder if it doesn't show up. You'll also hear about new offers as they launch.
The welcome code only works on your first purchase, so it's worth more on a bigger first order than on a single small item.
You can check out as a guest, but a free My Account makes it easier to protect your savings. It gives you quick access to the online returns portal, order tracking, your past orders and saved addresses for a faster checkout.
The bigger reason is cancellations. Mountain Warehouse can only process a cancellation request through My Account, and guest orders can't be cancelled. Orders are picked quickly, so the window is short, but catching one in time saves you the $10 postal return fee on something you no longer want.
Prices on the Australian site are in Australian dollars and include GST. Mountain Warehouse runs separate sites for other countries, so if a link drops you onto one, you'll see a different currency and different offers. Use "Change Region" at the bottom of the page to switch back to Australia.
Changing region resets your basket, so note down your items first or you'll be rebuilding your cart from scratch.
Mountain Warehouse runs mid season sales on its own range and cuts prices further at the end of each season, with reduced lines tagged as Clearance. Shoppers on Australian deal forums also report extra sitewide discounts around the Friday Sale in late November, in the days after Christmas and through June and July, though Mountain Warehouse doesn't publish a fixed calendar for these.
End of season reductions are the time to stock up on gear for next year, such as down jackets, thermals and skiwear once winter winds down.
The Friday Sale and the days after Christmas are worth watching for camping gear ahead of summer trips.
Noting the items and sizes you want ahead of time lets you move quickly before popular sizes sell out.
If you receive a coupon during a sale, check its end date as soon as it lands, since campaign codes often run for a set period.
