Find verified IKEA coupons plus the latest vouchers available today
Since 2021, I have worked as a Senior Editor at CupoNation Australia, where I am dedicated to verifying promo codes and finding smarter ways to save. I refresh IKEA deals daily, ensuring that this page always features the newest offers. From my research, I recommend trying IKEA’s Buyback Program. Returning old furniture earns you a refund card to use in-store, and members sometimes receive up to 50% more on the buyback value. It’s a sustainable and budget-friendly approach I love recommending.
IKEA gift cards can be used for full or partial payment across all Australian stores and online, with digital versions delivered instantly via email. Cards are valid for three years and can hold up to $1,000, giving you flexibility on when and how you shop.
This renowned Swedish home furnishings retailer was founded in 1943 by Ingvar Kamprad. The company's focus on functional, affordable, and well-designed furniture quickly gained popularity. 10 years later, their showroom opened in Älmhult, Sweden. IKEA spread their wings all over the world, and in Australia, the brand opened its first store in Sydney in 1975.
With 10 stores nationwide, IKEA is a go-to for Aussies who are looking for homeware, storage units, and furniture. Customers especially love the brand due to its affordable price, flat-pack convenience, and the overall shopping experience, complete with the iconic Swedish meatballs. The brand also focuses on sustainability, from selling pre-loved furniture to making deliveries with zero carbon emissions.
If you are looking for something cheaper than what the brand is already offering, the As-Is page is the place for you. Find a wide range of pre-owned, showroom displays, or discontinued items and give them a second home. Shopping on this page is not only beneficial for the planet because these items are being repurposed, but you can also get up to 75% off the retail prices. And just to be clear, these items have been thoroughly inspected to confirm that they are reusable and safe.
For those looking to dispose of or give away their old IKEA furniture, we suggest selling it back to the brand and receiving a refund in the form of a credit card. You can use this refund card to save money on future purchases. Plus, during the Friday Sale, IKEA offers an extra 50% store credit when you return pre-loved furniture. This helps you save money on new purchases and encourages recycling, making it a good time to buy or part with items. Conditions apply.
The app gives you access to exclusive in-store savings that aren't available online. During promotional periods, you can save 10% on selected products simply by shopping through the app while you're in-store. To claim your offer, download the IKEA app and browse products while you're shopping. When you're ready to buy, check out directly through the app. The discount applies automatically at checkout for eligible items
IKEA offers many ways to get your order, namely Delivery to your door, Delivery into your home, and Click & Collect. Shipping fees cost as little as $9.99, but you do need to spend $15 or more to qualify for parcel delivery. However, we actually prefer the Click & Collect option because you don’t have to pay for shipping. You can collect your order from any IKEA branch nationwide, except the Perth store.
Plus, if you are a member, you get to collect it for free! If you are a non-member, you will need to ensure that your order is worth $50 or more to pick it up for free, or pay a flat $5 fee. While delivery to your doorstep is convenient, we definitely think that the Click & Collect option is worth looking into, especially if your order is small. If you are purchasing furniture or larger items, it might be worth paying for the Delivery into your home option.
As soon as you become a member, you get an IKEA coupon that you can use to get $10 off your next order. Also, you will be a part of the newsletter, where you can get more deals and coupons. We have even seen coupons worth up to $30 in the newsletter.
Get 50% off main dishes every Friday! From 11 am onwards, you can save 50% on the iconic Swedish meatballs, chicken schnitzel, a healthy baked salmon, and even plant-based meals! However, just note that this offer can only be redeemed in-store and not online.
Members also enjoy lower prices on a wide variety of products like the food containers, the SLÄKT bedroom series, and more! These offers can run for a long period of time or for a very short period, so we recommend checking your newsletter often or visiting our page, where we are constantly showcasing the current promotions offered by the brand.
Enjoy free extras like entries to workshops on decorating your home and skills to build your home into a space you will love. They also offer a free exchange if something in your order breaks on the way home or while you are building it.
Probably our favourite perk, the membership program allows you to collect reward keys, which you can then use to save money on home furnishings and shipping fees, or to redeem freebies at the IKEA restaurant. Here are some easy ways to collect keys:
Every $5 spent = 1 reward key
Log in to your Family account = 1 reward key
Create and complete your profile = 5 reward keys
Create and save a wishlist = 2 reward keys
IKEA Australia offers deals during the Cyber Sale with exclusive benefits for members, including discounts on best-selling items, helping customers save substantially on quality furniture and home accessories. They also have mid-year promotions for members, where you can save up to 25% on selected items like decor, wardrobes, and more!
