Minimax discount codes and promo codes in November 2026
Verfied Minimax vouchers and active coupons to use online

Since 2022, I’ve been a Senior Editor at CupoNation Australia, curating Minimax offers a couple of times each week and ensuring discount codes are verified before they go live. My role is to simplify savings for Australians shopping for homewares.
A special tip I have is to check their gift-with-purchase promos first and build your cart around them. Often, the bonus is a practical item like knives or glassware, which saves you from having to buy those essentials separately.
Minimax opened in Melbourne in 1967 as a small hardware store run by Ray and Jean Harrison, and two generations of the family later turned it into a premium homewares business. Now owned by the Blythe family, it has grown into a favourite for kitchenware and household items, with stores across Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
Customers appreciate the Minimax Marketplace, a curated selection of brands and products chosen by their buyers. This approach maintains the store’s reputation for quality and consistency, making it a trusted destination for stylish kitchen and home essentials.
Subscribe to the Minimax email newsletter to receive a $10 welcome discount code via email. Code applies during checkout to your first order on cookware, dinnerware, or utensils. Valid for new subscribers.
Free metro delivery starts at $99, which matters more here than the welcome offer. That first-order deal is only $10 off a $100 spend, and exclusions apply, so we'd use it on a full-price kitchen buy you already need. If you're under the threshold, Click & Collect is free in-store, often ready in 3 hours.
If you're near a store, use Click & Collect. For online orders, aim for a $99 basket and save the welcome code for full-price buys.
Rewards is free to join and you earn on online and in store orders, but the welcome code and the reward cards work in different places, so it helps to know which is which before you plan a big shop.
New members who sign up online get a $10 Minimax discount code by email. It needs a minimum online spend of $100, expires 30 days after it's sent and can't be combined with other offers.
Gift cards, appliances, electrical, KitchenAid, Aarke, Ooni, SodaStream, online exclusives and Foodbank spatulas are excluded. On a $100 order that's a 10% saving, so it works best on cookware, knives or tableware you were already planning to buy rather than a new appliance.
You earn 1 point per $1 spent, online or in store, and 750 points gets you a $25 Instant Reward Card. That's roughly 3.3% back.
The card is issued in store, lasts 4 months and can only be redeemed in store, not online.
You have three years to reach 750 points, and membership lapses if you spend less than $100 in that time.
Missing points have to be raised with a store within 30 days, receipt in hand.
The card works like a $25 Minimax voucher, so the program pays off most if you live near a store. Online only shoppers should treat points as a bonus, not a reason to spend. Holding a big purchase for a double point day doubles the return.
Minimax will match a lower price from a reputable Australian retailer with a physical store or a recognised online presence. The item has to be identical in brand, model, size, colour and any bonus items, brand new, and in stock at both stores.
The competitor's price must be current, clearly advertised and include GST plus any delivery or handling fees.
Online marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon don't count.
Online exclusives, clearance and closing down sales, member-only or limited-time promotions, bundles and gift-with-purchase deals are excluded.
They check the price and have the final say.
The delivery rule catches people out. A cheaper ticket price elsewhere stops being cheaper once their shipping is added, and it's that total they match against. Price match earns its keep on one-off big buys like a cookware set, where the gap is real money.
The sale section is split by category, covering cookware, kitchenware, appliances, dinnerware and glassware, with an End of Season Clearance range alongside it. Going straight to the category you need is quicker than scrolling the full sale list.
Clearance stock is excluded from price match, so the ticket price is as low as it goes. The appliances sale deserves the closest watch, because the Minimax discount code for new members leaves out appliances and electrical items, which makes markdowns the main way to pay less on them.
Metro orders over $99 ship free, and anything under that costs a flat $10. Regional addresses pay a flat $15 and remote ones $25 whatever the order size, while bulky items marked "Bulk Shipping Applies" add a location-based fee at checkout.
If a metro order sits at $90, adding a $10 item you'd buy anyway costs the same as the fee. Regional shoppers save most by putting everything into one order.
Every store offers Click & Collect, with orders ready in about three hours. You'll get a "ready for pick up" email, then bring photo ID and your order number, and your billing address has to be within 80km of the store. It's the handy option for a small top-up order that falls short of the free delivery threshold.
Afterpay splits a purchase into four interest-free instalments over six weeks, online and in store. It doesn't lower the price, but it lets you lock in a sale price now instead of waiting for payday. Late fees apply if you miss a payment, and one of those can cancel out a modest discount.
The Marketplace adds an extended range shipped straight from third-party sellers. Items from different sellers arrive separately with their own tracking, Click & Collect isn't available, and change of mind returns go back to the supplier rather than a store. Keep Marketplace buys to things you're sure about, since sending one back takes more effort than a normal return.
