Oaks promo codes and coupon codes in November 2026
Verified Oaks discount codes and active vouchers to use online

I’ve been curating and verifying Oaks discounts at CupoNation Australia since 2021 in my role as Senior Editor. My focus is to make sure Australians have access to genuine savings that are actually worthwhile.
When I book for family or friends, I put up to two rooms in my own name with my member number. DISCOVERY Dollars are only earned on two rooms at most, and perks like upgrades and late check-out only go to the member's own room, so a third room is better booked by another member.
Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites is a Minor Hotels brand with around 60 properties across Australia and New Zealand, from city apartment hotels to beach and alpine resorts. Many of the larger apartments have their own laundry, which suits families and longer stays.
Bookings made on the brand's website or the Minor Hotels app earn Minor DISCOVERY rewards. The program also reaches more than 850 hotels in the Global Hotel Alliance, so rewards from a local getaway can go towards a stay overseas.
Hotel loyalty is the main play here. Join Minor DISCOVERY before you book directly, and you can save up to 10% straight away, then earn D$ on every booking, with D$1 always worth USD 1. We'd use it most for repeat stays, because those credits last 12 months and can be spent at check-out once you hit D$10.
If you book Oaks more than once a year, Minor DISCOVERY is worth joining before your first stay. Book direct to make it count.
Oaks runs its loyalty program through Minor DISCOVERY, and joining is free. We'd sort it out before booking anything, because every deal on the site gets better with it.
Members get up to 10% off public rates booked on the website or app. The discount sits inside the Minor DISCOVERY rate, so you need to be logged in and pick that rate during booking. It works like a built-in Oaks discount code you never have to hunt for.
The Early Bird, Longer Stays and Stay and Save deals each add an extra 10% for members too. With no fee to join, booking as a guest simply leaves money on the table.
You earn DISCOVERY Dollars (D$) on your room rate and other eligible spend, excluding taxes and fees. Each D$ is worth one US dollar, converted at the program's exchange rate.
Silver members earn 4%, Gold 5%, Platinum 6% and Titanium 7%.
Silver D$ last 12 months, Gold D$ last 18 months, and Platinum and Titanium D$ last 24 months.
Every direct booking on the website or app adds a D$5 bonus, plus D$20 after every fourth one.
Those bonus dollars expire three months after they're credited. They're best spent on a trip you've already got planned, not banked for later.
Both deals take a percentage off the Best Available Rate at participating properties and selected rooms, and members get an extra 10% off on top. Blackout dates apply, and neither deal can be combined with other promotions.
Book and pay in full at least 14 days before you arrive, and the Early Bird rate takes 10% to 20% off depending on the property. Stays need a minimum of two or three nights and top out at six.
The rate is non-refundable and the dates can't be changed. That makes it great value for fixed plans like a wedding or a booked event, and a poor choice if there's any chance your trip moves.
The Longer Stays deal knocks 15% to 20% off stays of seven nights or more. You pay on arrival and keep a 24 hour cancellation window.
For a week away, this usually beats the Early Bird. The discount starts higher, you aren't locked in, and the Early Bird stops at six nights anyway. If you're torn between six and seven nights, price both, since the deeper discount can make the extra night surprisingly cheap.
Membership is the one discount that reliably stacks. The Early Bird, Longer Stays and Stay and Save deals all add the 10% member discount, but their terms rule out combining them with any other promotion or discount. A code won't sit on top of them.
So it's a choice, not a stack. On a short stay, a code that takes a set percentage off a flexible rate can beat a dynamic deal that might only be worth 5%. On a week away, the 15% to 20% Longer Stays discount is hard to top. Price the trip both ways on the booking page before you pay, and remember a code applied to a non-refundable rate still means no changes.
For trips that miss the Early Bird window, Stay and Save takes 5% to 15% off at participating properties. You'll need a minimum stay of two or three nights, up to six nights. There's no Oaks promo code needed, you pay on arrival and you can cancel by phone up to 24 hours before check-in.
It's the flexible pick for a last minute weekend. The discount moves with demand, though, so it shrinks when rooms are scarce.
Gold takes two stays or USD 1,000 spend in a calendar year. Platinum takes 10 nights, USD 5,000 or stays with two brands, and Titanium takes 30 nights, USD 15,000 or three brands.
Platinum adds a room upgrade and late check-out until 3pm.
Titanium adds a bigger upgrade, early check-in from 11am, check-out until 4pm and guaranteed room availability when you book at least two days ahead.
Stays at other Minor Hotels brands such as Avani count, so one trip elsewhere can tick the brand box. Status then lasts until the end of the following calendar year, so a busy year pays off twice.
After your first stay as a member, bookings through online travel agents don't earn D$ or tier credit. They also miss the extra 10% member discount on the Early Bird, Longer Stays and Stay and Save deals.
The Minor Hotels Best Price Guarantee excludes Oaks and every hotel in Australia and New Zealand, so there's no rate match to fall back on. Booking direct is where the stacked discounts and rewards actually sit.
