Wotif coupons and promo codes in November 2026
Verified Wotif discount codes and active vouchers to use online
I’ve been part of CupoNation Australia since 2023 as an Editor, where I check and refresh Wotif offers twice a week to make sure every code is accurate.
From my research, the Group Rate feature is worth trying on Wotif if you’re travelling with friends. For bookings of nine or more rooms, hotels send quotes that can be up to 70% below their standard published rates, and you can compare and negotiate them online. This drastically cuts one of the biggest costs of a trip and ensures everyone saves.
Wotif started in Brisbane back in 2000, founded by Graeme Wood with a clear goal in mind, making it easier and more affordable for travellers to find great places to stay. What began as a small startup quickly grew into a go-to travel platform for Australian travellers.
Today it's part of Expedia Group, and the site lets you book stays, flights, holiday packages, car hire and activities in one place, with hotel deals in popular Australian destinations a big focus.
Apply this exclusive coupon code during checkout to take 9% off hotel bookings sitewide. Valid for all registered users online.
Log in to an active Wotif member account to save up to 25% on hotel accommodation and holiday travel packages. Valid for registered members.

Free access to Mates Rates is the main reason to sign in before you book. We'd use Wotif for hotel stays first, because those member prices are for participating hotels and don't carry over to flights or packages. Our tip is to check the app too, since some hotel savings sit there.
If you're booking a hotel, sign in first and use Mates Rates from the start. Skip relying on it for flights or packages.
Mates Rates are member prices that take an extra 10% or more off the standard rate at select hotels. Access is free. Create an account and sign in, use the app or subscribe to the emails, and the lower price shows on eligible stays with no Wotif discount code needed.
Only participating hotels take part, and flights and holiday packages are excluded.
Travel dates, blackout periods and minimum stays vary by property.
Sign in before you search rather than at checkout, so member prices are already in the results while you're choosing a hotel. Based on our research, a Mates Rate on a free cancellation room is the strongest combination, because you lock in the discount and can still rebook if the same hotel drops its price closer to your stay.
Booking flights and a hotel together is where the bigger savings on a Wotif trip usually sit, since package prices are measured against booking the two separately.
Flaming Deal packages bundle return flights with a hotel at one combined price. Sample prices are per person, based on two people sharing and the lowest available airfare, so a solo traveller or someone flying from a different city will usually pay more than the advertised figure.
Mates Rates don't apply to packages. For a long trip where flights are the big cost, the package tends to win, while a short hotel stay can come out cheaper as a member rate plus a separate flight. Adding a Wotif coupon at checkout only works when the code's terms cover packages.
Advertised flight and package prices don't include everything.
A payment method fee can apply at checkout.
Checked baggage often costs extra, especially on low cost airlines.
Fares can be non-refundable and non-transferable, and name changes may not be allowed.
Add bags when you book if you know you'll need them, as airlines generally charge more later. Make sure every name matches the passport before paying, because a typo on a non-transferable fare can cost you the whole ticket.
Plenty of hotels on the site are fully refundable, and some let you book now and pay on arrival instead of paying upfront.
Free cancellation applies to select hotels only, and some require you to cancel more than 24 hours before check-in.
Each hotel sets its own conditions, which are shown before you book.
Rules, blackout periods and minimum stays can apply.
These options cost nothing extra, and when plans aren't locked in they're worth more than a small discount on a non-refundable rate. Based on our research, booking a refundable room early for a busy period such as school holidays protects you from rising prices, and you can cancel before the deadline if a better Wotif promo code or sale price turns up for the same stay.
Last-minute deals cover hotels, flights, car hire and activities for stays within the next 14 days, tonight included. Hotels discount their standard rate to fill rooms at short notice, so a spontaneous weekend can cost well under the usual price. The trade off is choice, as popular dates sell out first. These deals suit flexible travellers, and they're a poor bet for fixed dates like weddings or events.
Wotif runs deals for the Friday Sale, Cyber Monday and Travel Tuesday across its travel categories. It's a good moment to book a trip months ahead, as long as the rate is refundable or your dates are firm. Sign in first so Mates Rates show next to sale prices, and keep a Wotif coupon handy in case its terms allow it on top.
The app advertises savings on select hotels, and signed-in app users get Mates Rates. It's most useful on the road, as you can grab a refundable room from your phone the moment a price looks right and cancel before the deadline if plans fall through. Stay signed in on the app as well as the website, as member prices only show to logged in account holders.
