Creating an account gives you a one-time 15% welcome discount on your first full price purchase. It works like a JAG discount code that only you can use, online or at their freestanding stores.
It expires six months after it's issued.
It can't be used on gift cards.
Reward credit can be used in the same order.
Buying sale stock first doesn't use it up, because excluded purchases don't count. That makes it worth holding for a bigger order of new season pieces or denim rather than spending it on a single basic.
Each qualifying order earns dollar credit toward your next one, at the same rates on every tier.
An order of $125 or more earns $10.
An order of $300 or more earns $35.
An order of $500 or more earns $65.

Your first online order also earns a one-off $10 credit. Credit is based on what you pay after discounts, without delivery, and it can't be combined with a JAG promo code unless stated. Your tier sets how much your birthday is worth and how cheaply your orders ship.
Add your date of birth to your account and a birthday credit arrives in your birth month each year. Muse members get $20, Icon members $25 and Luminary members $30.
Your birthday has to be saved before the end of that month, and adding it late won't backdate a missed year, so fill it in when you sign up. Its expiry and any minimum spend are shown when it's issued. A $20 credit is a bigger share of a smaller order, so it suits a single top or pair of shorts rather than sitting unused while you wait for a big haul.
Tiers are based on what you spend with JAG in each 12 month membership year, after discounts and excluding delivery.

Anniversary credit of $15 to $30 also lands each membership year. If you'll pass $500 in a year anyway, the lower delivery threshold at Icon is the most useful perk, since you no longer need to pad small orders.
Change of mind returns are accepted within 21 days of delivery, as long as items are unworn, unwashed and have their tags.
Posting a return through the Australia Post portal costs a flat $8.99 per parcel, taken from your refund.
Returns to a JAG freestanding store are free, but David Jones and Myer won't take them.
Final sale items, underwear and swimwear without hygiene stickers can't be returned for change of mind.
Afterpay and PayPal orders can be refunded but not exchanged.
For a faulty item, email customer care before using the portal. They'll send a free label, while the portal fee can't be refunded later. Dropping a return at a store keeps the whole refund, which matters most on smaller orders.
The sale section holds marked down stock, and pieces cleared further carry a red final sale label. Final sale items can't be returned or exchanged for change of mind, and the final sale price can't be combined with other offers, so a JAG discount code won't take more off. Keep final sale for basics you already know your size in, and keep codes for full price buys.
Every loyalty member gets VIP sale access and new collection previews, whatever their tier. That early look matters most for denim in popular sizes, which can sell through before a sale opens to everyone.
Join before a sale starts rather than at checkout. The 15% welcome offer doesn't cover marked down stock, so early access is the perk that actually pays off during sales.
Members can share a referral from their account. Your friend gets 15% off their first order plus a $10 reward, and you get $10 credit once they buy, with higher tiers earning more per referral. Send it before their first order, since both rewards hinge on that purchase.
