If the price of an Apple-branded product drops within 14 calendar days of your delivery, I suggest asking for the difference back. You need to call or visit a store within 14 days of the price change, and limited-time cuts during special sales events don't count.

Trading in an old device can take more off a new one than any Apple coupon, and it all runs online. Answer a few questions about its condition for an estimate (your serial number gives the most accurate value), then add the trade-in when you choose your new product. Once the old device passes inspection, the credit goes back to your original payment method. You can take an Apple Gift Card instead, and any value above the new device's price comes as a gift card.

The Individual plan bundles Apple Music, TV and Arcade with 50GB of iCloud+ storage for one monthly price, which costs less than paying for each service separately. Any service in the bundle you don't already have is free for the first month, and TV and Arcade can still be shared through Family Sharing.
It only pays off if you'd use at least two of the services. If music is your only habit, a standalone music subscription costs less.
Family adds 200GB of iCloud+ and lets you share everything with up to five other people, so splitting it across a household brings each person's cost well below a single subscription. Premier adds Fitness+ and News+ and lifts storage to 2TB, and it carries the biggest saving listed against separate subscriptions.
We'd only go Premier if someone in the group already pays for Fitness+, News+ or a large iCloud+ plan, because that's where its extra value sits. For most households, Family covers what they actually use.
Education pricing takes money off a new Mac or iPad. It's open to current and newly accepted university students, parents buying for a university student, and teachers and staff at all levels. You'll need to prove your eligibility, and purchases must be for your own study, teaching or research.
AppleCare+ costs up to 10% less on a new Mac or iPad.

The Back to School promotion usually runs early in the year and adds a bonus item to an eligible Mac or iPad, limited to one of each per buyer.
Teachers at any level qualify, but student pricing stops at university, so parents of high schoolers miss out. The discount matters most on higher priced Macs. Education orders don't get the Friday Sale gift card, so on a cheaper iPad that event can sometimes be worth more.
Rather than cutting prices for the Friday Sale, Apple usually runs a four-day shopping event. Buy an eligible iPhone, Mac, iPad, AirPods or accessory and you get a gift card to spend on a later purchase. The card value depends on the product, and you can claim up to two per product category.
Refurbished items, education pricing and some Latitude financed orders are excluded. Return the product and the gift card has to go back too, or its value comes off your refund. It's best when you already have a second purchase lined up, like a case or a watch band after a new phone.
Afterpay Pay Monthly splits eligible purchases of $30 or more over 6, 12 or 24 months, with 0% interest during selected periods shown at checkout. You need an Afterpay account in good standing, and approval isn't guaranteed.
Latitude's Gem Visa and GO Mastercard offer interest-free plans from 6 months on $150 to $299 up to 24 months on amounts over $600. A monthly card fee applies, and any balance left at the end is charged interest at the expired plan rate.
Latitude plans don't work with a trade-in, so Afterpay is the better fit if you're trading in. It also applies the trade-in credit straight away instead of after inspection.
Delivery is free on all orders, so there's no threshold to reach and no reason to add extras to your basket. Online orders can also be picked up from an Apple Store, though some products and payment methods aren't eligible.
Because delivery costs nothing, splitting a big purchase into separate orders costs nothing either. That's handy when one item qualifies for a gift card offer or price adjustment and another doesn't.
